The thing with childproofing ...
... is that you actually have to use them properly to keep little hands out of cabinets ... they also make wonderful teething chews ; )

ok, shew, the first time I read that post the sentence was all confusing and I thought it was just me being overtired. I see you edited. :)
And yes, they only work when used properly.
We use the plastic inside each door ones...so far they work, but he is a persistant bug so I'm waiting for the day for him to figure it out!!! Our biggest task is him going straight for the stairs. Guess a baby gate is in store!
